Last updated: March 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ClassFabric (“ClassFabric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a product of 3andB Publishing, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1

Who we are

ClassFabric is operated in connection with 3andB Publishing. For privacy inquiries, contact: info@3andb.com.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the Service:

  • Account and profile information. Such as your name, display name, email address, password (stored using one-way hashing), school or organization (if provided), language and time zone preferences, and similar profile fields you choose to provide.
  • Google account information (when you use Google sign-in). If you register or log in with Google, we receive information from Google as authorized by you during the OAuth consent flow. This typically includes identifiers such as your Google account ID and email address, and may include your name and profile picture, depending on the scopes you approve. We use this information to create and secure your account, personalize your experience, and communicate with you about the Service. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Content you submit. Lesson plans, prompts, standards, assessments, uploads, and other materials you create or import in the Service.
  • Usage and technical data. Such as IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages or features accessed, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Communications. When you contact us (for example via our contact form or email), we collect the content of your message and associated contact details.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies as needed for authentication, security, preferences, and Service functionality.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including AI-assisted curriculum generation features;
  • Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • Process your requests and respond to support inquiries;
  • Send service-related and administrative messages (for example, security notices or account updates);
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and property;
  • Analyze usage in aggregate or de-identified form to understand performance and plan improvements.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests (balanced against your rights), consent where applicable, and legal obligation.

4

AI processing and service providers

To deliver AI-powered features, your prompts and related instructional content may be transmitted to model providers (such as OpenAI or other vendors we configure) solely to generate outputs for you within the Service. We instruct providers to process such data only as needed to provide the Service. We do not sell your personal information and do not use your content to train third-party foundation models except as permitted by our agreements with those providers and this Policy.

We also use trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, and similar functions. They may process personal information only on our instructions and subject to appropriate safeguards.

5

Google API Services User Data

Limited Use of Google data: ClassFabric does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not share it with third parties except as described in this Policy.

ClassFabric’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell Google user data. Access, use, storage, and sharing of Google user data are limited to providing or improving user-facing features of the Service that are prominent in our application, security, abuse prevention, and compliance with law, consistent with that policy.

6

Disclosure of information

We may disclose information:

  • To service providers and subprocessors who assist in operating the Service, under confidentiality and processing terms;
  • If required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of users, ClassFabric, or others;
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections;
  • With your direction or consent.
7

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below, subject to lawful retention needs.

8

Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and safeguard your credentials.

9

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact info@3andb.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies required for authentication may be necessary to use the Service.

10

International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

11

Children

The Service is intended for educators and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) for direct marketing. If you believe we have collected information from a child inappropriately, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

12

U.S. state privacy notices

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under local privacy laws (for example, rights to know, delete, or opt out of certain processing). To submit a request, email info@3andb.com. We do not “sell” personal information as that term is commonly defined under state laws, and we do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics for prohibited purposes.

13

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, by email or in-product notice).
